Directors

Robert Bell


Robert has been involved in Nova Scotia's real estate industry for 40 years, most notably as president, director and shareholder of Bell Enterprises Limited, a property management company that owns and operates approximately 450 rental units. He was formerly a shareholder and director in Harbour Construction Limited, which, during his tenure, completed more than $30 million worth of construction projects.

Robert has extensive education in engineering sciences (electrical and mechanical), including Queens University, University of New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia Technical College.

 

 

William Crandell, BA, MBA, CMC


Bill has twenty-five years experience as a financial analyst and business planner with companies ranging from multi-national corporations to owner-operated companies. He has been involved in numerous entrepreneurial endeavors, served as president of Target Consulting Group, a successful firm he founded in 1996, and was chairman and director of Knowledge Navigators International.

Bill served with the Canadian Armed Forces, attaining the rank of major. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters in Business Administration, both from Dalhousie University, and is a Certified Management Consultant.

 

 

 

Dr. George Findlay, BSc, DDS, MBA


George graduated from Rothesay Collegiate School in New Brunswick. He studied science and dentistry at Dalhousie University and in 1977, established his private practice in Bath, N.B., and retired from dentistry in 2006. In 2007, George graduated with an MBA degree from The University of Liverpool, completed the Directors' course at Simon Fraser University, and obtained his prospector's license by completing a course in prospecting offered through the New Brunswick Department of Natural Resources.

Since his first investment, George has been an ardent student of public market activity with a diverse range of focus from mining issues to property and development. He is currently an independent director of Silver Spruce Resources Inc.

 

 

Robert (Bob) Neal

Bob retired from Aliant Inc. in 2003 after 24 years of service and has spent the last 10 years prior to retiring managing a number of technology companies. He was responsible for building a multitude of joint ventures as well as incubating several start- up technology companies.

He was Senior Vice President Aliant Inc. and President Innovatia Inc. (2000-2003), Vice-President, Business Development - NBTel Inc. (1998-2000), President, NBTel Global Inc. (1997), President, NBTel Interactive Inc. (1996), President, ISM - Datacor (Atlantic) Inc. (1995) and President, NBTel Mobility Inc. (1991-1995) and held various management positions with NBTel Inc. (1979-1991).

Bob is currently a director of Prestige Telecom Inc. (TSXV: PR), Ignition Point Technologies Corp. (TSXV - IPN) , ResponseTek Networks Corp., Mobidia Inc., Voice Mobility Inc. and a member of the Advisory Board of BCE Capital. Previously Bob has been a member of the Advisory Boards, respectively, of Genesys and Exigen, and a director of BCE Capital and iMagic TV.

 

 

 

H. Drew Sperry, MRAIC, MNSSA

Drew is president, director and controlling shareholder of Sperry & Partners Limited, an architectural firm he founded in 1972. Over his career, he has designed projects totaling in excess of $100 million, including university residences, residential condominiums, waterfront and urban redevelopment, and multi-purpose recreation facilities.

Drew graduated from Nova Scotia Technical College School of Architecture, where he received the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada Gold Medal for Distinction in Architectural Design. He is a member of the Nova Scotia Association of Architects and holds the M.R.A.I.C. and M.N.S.S.A. designations.
