Executive
Gordon Neal – CEO
Gordon was elected President and CEO of Innovative in early 2008. He has a 30-year history of business development and senior management experience for companies involved in diverse industry segments. He developed and managed several companies owned by the Irvings and Joe Shannon in Atlantic Canada and has started and operated several companies on his own. He has negotiated numerous acquisitions and managed integration of acquired companies in several business sectors. He has experience in large-scale international deployment of technology systems. He has assembled management teams responsible for the successful development of numerous companies. Gordon studied science at Memorial University of Newfoundland and is a graduate of the Queen’s University Executive Development program.
Boyd Hunter – CFO
Boyd joined Innovative in 2008 as CFO. He worked for a National CA firm in Edmonton, Calgary, and Halifax from 1977-1991 and has grown and managed his own CA firm since 1991. He has been engaged by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nova Scotia in doing Practice Review of accounting and auditing standards of CA firms as well as conducting Professional Conduct Investigations. He has a wealth of experience with a variety of businesses providing business advice as well as accounting, tax, estate and financial planning services.
